General Description

The Governance and Organizational Excellence Fellowship is a 120-training-hour applied professional program integrating corporate governance, compliance, enterprise risk management, internal control, internal audit, performance management, and organizational excellence. It develops participants’ ability to interpret regulatory requirements, assess risks and controls, evaluate organizational maturity, and convert findings into professional reports, recommendations, and practical improvement initiatives. The program combines structured professional learning with applied assignments and projects that support sound decision-making, accountability, and stronger organizational performance.

The Governance and Organizational Excellence Fellowship responds to the need for professionals who can connect sound decision-making with risk management, regulatory compliance, effective control, and stronger organizational performance. The fellowship therefore moves beyond theoretical concepts and guides participants from understanding governance systems to analyzing organizational challenges and developing practical responses.

Across 120 training hours, the pathway begins with corporate governance principles and structures before progressing to the Saudi regulatory environment, enterprise risk management, compliance, internal control, internal audit, performance management, and organizational excellence. Applied assignments, assessments, and fellowship projects help participants practise interpreting requirements, assessing risks and controls, evaluating maturity, and preparing professional reports and recommendations.

The fellowship may be relevant to professionals working in governance, board affairs, risk management, compliance, internal audit, internal control, legal and regulatory affairs, quality, performance management, policy development, and organizational excellence. It may also benefit managers and professionals transitioning from law, accounting, finance, or business administration into governance-related roles.

The program supports preparation for the professional certification pathway associated with it. Any external credential is awarded separately by the relevant awarding body and remains subject to that body’s current eligibility, assessment, and certification requirements.
